They’re here to talk, listen, encourage you, and help you become more confident using the German you’re learning.

A Kickoff Community Coach is part conversation partner, part mentor, part teammate.

Our coaches may be university students, future German teachers, German enthusiasts or soccer fans.

What matters most isn’t knowing every grammar rule. It’s being curious, encouraging, reliable.

You and your Community Coach don’t have to spend the first ten minutes wondering what to talk about.

Your club, your favorite player, last weekend’s game, the Bundesliga.
Your German may still be limited but your opinions about soccer probably aren’t.
